The MRP-L LM8 7.25 is our PDW length upper receiver designed for 10.5″ and shorter barrels. Initially developed as a replacement for the venerable HK MP5, this upper receiver features our LM8 attachment points at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions and 3 QD sling swivel mounts.

The 9″ MRP .300BLK barrel is made from high-quality materials with a 1:7 twist for superior accuracy. It features a low-profile gas block firmly attached to prevent leakage or slipping and a straight gas tube that perfectly interfaces with the MRP CQB receivers. Designed for extended service life, each barrel is chrome lined, coated, and cryogenically treated for long-term durability. An A2 flash hider is installed for reduced flash signature.
Note: This barrel will not fit a full-size MRP receiver. This barrel is designed for MRP CQB receivers only.

The “Shovelnose” MRP upper was designed specifically for shooters who need more room for mounting accessories when using LMT piston barrels. The upper features a larger internal diameter allowing for the installation and removal of any LMT barrel without removing MLOK add-ons.
The patented LMT monolithic rail platform (MRP) upper receiver, has a receiver and handguard that are made from a single piece of forged aerospace aluminum. The barrel is held in place with a proprietary locking system that utilizes two locking bolts accessible from the right side of the receiver. The only tool needed is a standard T-30 Torx bit to tighten the bolts. This receiver requires the patented LMT monolithic barrel assembly which has a low profile gas block with straight gas tube.
