Overview
LMT® has developed numerous innovations over the last 35+ years and, as a result, long-time customers have seen models come and go from our arsenal. Veterans of our products will remember the Defender 2000. Released in 2000, this model was the first in the MRP® family and the progenitor of the many customization options you see in our products today. Historically, LMT® Defender products have held a high price point due to the quality and attention to detail given every rifle. Members of our team have worked to provide an entry-level rifle for customers new to the LMT® family.
LMT® built this rifle with its patented Monolithic Rail Platform, the only true monolithic rail platform, milled from a single high-grade aluminum forging. Two locking bolts on the side of the receiver lock the barrel extension in place. MRP® technology engages the barrel extension for a full 360 degrees and allows the barrel to be removed in seconds while minimizing point of impact shift. One receiver can support numerous barrels of varying length, material, and caliber.

The MLC upper receiver has a 14.5-inch Picatinny top rail. The remaining 7 sides provide M-LOK compatible attachment points.
Monolithic rail platform barrels use a low profile gas block with straight gas tube; furthermore, they have a proprietary coating and are cryogenically treated for long term durability.
Finally, the lower receiver features a textured grip, M4 style stock, and dry film lubricant coated extension tube.
This weapon system comes with a magazine and owner’s manual.

16″ 5.56×45 (.223) Chrome Lined 1:7″ RH Twist Piston Barrel
This weapon is built with the LMT® patented Monolithic Rail Platform, MRP®. The only true monolithic rail platform, milled from a single solid piece of aerospace aluminum forging. It utilizes two locking bolts accessible from the side of the receiver to lock in the barrel extension. This patented technology engages the barrel extension for a full 360 degrees around the extension and makes the barrel removable within seconds with a return to zero of the same barrel. One receiver can utilize numerous barrels of varying length, material, and caliber.
The MLC upper receiver has 14.5″ of uninterrupted 1913 picatinny rail on the 12 o’clock position. The remaining 7 sides provide M-LOK compatible attachment points.
Monolithic rail platform piston barrels utilize a standard/suppressed option gas block with removable piston rod and spring. They possess proprietary coating and are cryogenically treated for long term durability.
The MARS®-L ambidextrous lower receiver features our EDM machined two-stage trigger, winter trigger guard, endplate with QD swivel point, LMT® ergonomic textured grip, and SOPMOD stock. The ambidextrous features include bolt catch and release, magazine catch, and safety selector. As with all LMT® lower receivers, the extension tube is coated with dry film lubricant.

LMT ION 30
LMT Advanced Technologies ION rifle suppressor approved for use in calibers from .17 to .300 Win Mag. Designed to eliminate back pressure, this suppressor features a unique barrel chamber that disrupts expanding gases but still allows the gas to flow through the suppressor. The ION 30 was touted as being designed for gas guns with no barrel restrictions while maintaining a full-auto rating. Featuring new technologies, the ION 30 is made from Inconel, 17-4 stainless steel, and 4140 steel alloy with a laser-welded construction. Utilizing a C-192 Armorer Black Cerakote, this suppressor should provide great corrosion resistance. This ships in its factory packaging with a regulator SP Muzzle Mount 5/8×24 7.62, ION tool, and an owner’s manual.

The LMT® Modular Ambidextrous Rifle System (MARS®) lower receiver offers ambidextrous controls to include: selector, magazine release and bolt catch and release. The ambidextrous magazine and bolt catch mechanisms are machined directly into the receiver and have been designed to function as ergonomically as possible. This lower receiver is designed with several unique LMT® features to further enhance its durability and versatility. These features are: enhanced magazine well, two-stage trigger group, winter trigger guard, G2 pistol grip, QD endplate, and SOPMOD buttstock.
