The LMT® Modular Ambidextrous Rifle System (MARS®) lower receiver offers ambidextrous controls to include: selector, magazine release and bolt catch and release. The ambidextrous magazine and bolt catch mechanisms are machined directly into the receiver and have been designed to function as ergonomically as possible.
This “stripped” version comes only with the ambidextrous components installed.
LMT® MWS® lower receivers are only guaranteed compatible with our upper receivers. Any other brand may not fit or function correctly.

LM8MWS monolithic upper receiver for large caliber rifle platforms. Created with smooth sides for better weapon ergonomics. The 3, 6 and 9 o’clock rails have locating lugs and screw holes. The locating lugs take the recoil of attached accessories while the screw holes hold the accessory or rail to the weapon. Utilizes two locking lugs to secure/remove any larger caliber LMT barrel. LMP114D
Designed with longevity in mind, this LMT enhanced firing is the perfect accessory for you duty, home defense, or hard use firearm. Originally designed and released for a specific contract utilizing extremely high pressure ammo, the benefits of the strength of this firing pin have made it a favorite among our Law Enforcement customers. The key upgrade over a standard Mil-Spec firing pin, is the use of Maraging steel. Maraging steel is an extremely strong and tough low carbon alloy that is commonly used in aircraft landing gear, rocket motor cases, and apparently the sword Gandalf carried in the Hobbit series of books. Chances of a broken or deformed firing pin that can deadline a weapon system are greatly reduced with the use of the LMP114D.
This firing pin also features an electroless nickel finish. Another noticeable feature is the dished rim on the firing pin head. This is purely a cut to easily identify the pin as a maraging steel pin when covered in carbon.
LMT MLC Top End
The patented LMT Monolithic Rail Platform (MRP) upper receiver is the only AR-15 upper that incorporates the handguard and receiver as one component. This state-of-the-art design is CNC machined from a single piece of forged aerospace aluminum resulting in benefits and functionality unmatched in the industry. Integrating this upper receiver with an MRP barrel creates an incredibly simplistic modular platform in which the barrel is held in place with a proprietary locking system utilizing two locking bolts on the right side of the receiver. Barrel swaps and caliber changes are easily completed in a few minutes with only a T-30 Torx bit and torque wrench (a factory pre-set torque wrench is available). Additionally, since the handguard is integral to the receiver you will not experience shifts in point of impact while using aiming devices that are attached directly to the handguard. Nor will you need to purchase expensive cantilever optic mounts. This receiver utilizes the patented LMT MRP barrels and like the other carbine length MRP receivers, is designed for use with either their piston barrels or direct impingement barrels in lengths from 10.5″ to 18″.
