The Defender-H lower receiver, also known as the original LMT® .308 Modular Weapon System (MWS®) lower receiver.

This receiver offers ambidextrous selector and magazine release machined directly into the receiver and have been designed to function as ergonomically as possible.

LMT® MWS® lower receivers are only guaranteed compatible with our upper receivers. Any other brand may not fit or function correctly.

This includes: 7.62×51 NATO, .243 Winchester, .260 Remington, 6.5 Creedmoor, 7mm-08 Remington, and .338 Federal. Barrel not included.

The MARS-H brings the innovative design of our MARS-L to the MWS® platform.

The LMT® Modular Ambidextrous Rifle System (MARS®) lower receiver offers ambidextrous controls to include: selector, magazine release and bolt catch and release. The ambidextrous magazine and bolt catch mechanisms are machined directly into the receiver and have been designed to function as ergonomically as possible. This lower receiver is designed with several unique LMT® features to further enhance its durability and versatility. These features are: enhanced magazine well, two-stage trigger group, winter trigger guard, ergo grip, and QD endplate.

This particular model comes complete with LMT®’s DMR buttstock. Ideal for long range marksmanship, the buttstock provides telescoping cheek rest and buttpad along with 3 possible positions along the extension tube.
