VBS 5.56 Threaded, Over The Barrel Mounted Suppressor

LMT has developed the next generation in suppressor design in partnership with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories. The genesis of this concept came from work LLNL used to develop a revolutionary technology for USSOCOM. From this basic research LMT and LLNL worked to refine and commercialize the technology. This new suppressor addresses the six key areas of modern suppressors:

• Reduced peak sound levels
• Lower operating temperatures
• Reduced backpressure
• Flash reduction
• Increased suppressor life
• Minimal increase in bolt carrier velocity
